SELF-EVALUATION TEST

INSTRUCTIONS

 

 

1.      The self-assessment tests allow new students to find out which level they should enrol for: A2, B1.1, B1.2, B2, C1.

 

2.      Students who have little or no knowledge of the language DO NOT HAVE TO DO THIS TEST. If this is the case they should enrol for level A1.

 

3.      To correct the self-assessment test, use the answer sheet which appears at the end of each test.

 

4.      Completion of the whole level test in the shortest possible time is recommended.

 

5.      INTERPRETATION OF THE RESULTS: the table below shows each test and its corresponding level.

6.      If you have all or nearly all the responses correct, you should do the test corresponding to the next level and if the number of correct responses is very high you should also do another test at a higher level.

 

7.      The level of the test in September will be based upon the results of the initial level test.

 

 

8.      During the first two weeks, the Spanish Department can change the course level of those persons who are considered not to be at the required level, as long as the number of places allows for this. It is very important not to decieve yourself when doing the tests.
